Education Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics or relevant field.  

Experience Required: Relevant work experience of 3+ years

Position Summary:  Be a key resource for the Company by developing analytical tools and dashboards for decision making and monitoring performance across the organization.  This will be done by using superb analytical skills, being able to transform business data into useful and effective information, driving decisions and business strategy.     

Essential Job Functions

  1. Creates and maintains BI/Dashboards and acts as the company expert.
  2. Instruct others how to become general users of the company BI/Dashboard software.
  3. Provide creative analysis to support alternatives and recommendations on how to reduce costs and improve financial performance of the company.
  4. Develop useful dashboards to support company decision making at all levels – Corporate, Operations and Support Departments.
  5. Interpret data to give management insight into operations.
  6. Provide insight to management on financial aspects of the company.
  7. Develop, implement and maintain effective planning and analysis capability that will provide senior leadership with appropriate analytical tools to establish goals and measure performance of the Company’s market sectors and segments.
  8. Develop and maintain analytical tools utilizing data to identify opportunities for improvement.
  9. Develop company Key Performance Indicators at various levels.
  10. Lead annual budgeting process.
  11. Responsible for financial budgeting and forecasting.
  12. Develop corporate and operational financial forecasting models.
  13. Develop and maintain cash flow and balance sheet projections.
  14. Complete ad hoc analysis as requested by management.

     

Additional Job Functions

  1. Identify opportunities for streamlining work and reducing waste in order to improve efficiency.
  2. Performs additional assignments per supervisor’s direction.

     

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Demonstrated history of a “can do” attitude of handling multiple projects simultaneously and delivering results accurately and on time.
  • Become proficient with company BI/Dashboard and budgeting and forecasting software.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook), and ERP software experience a plus.
  • Effective communication skills (oral, written, presentational).
  • Problem solving skills.
  • Proficient skills in prioritizing, organizing, being a self-starter and working independently.
  • Must have the ability to keep information confidential.
  • Occasional travel required to projects sites.
