Education Requirements:  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related degree, specializing in Information Technology.

Experience: Previous experience as a developer with at least three (3) years of experience developing in .NET, HTML, C#, and JavaScript.  In addition, three (3) years of hands on knowledge creating automated test scripts that support test driven development will be required.  Strong understanding of relational databases, stored procedures, database functions and SQL queries.  Experience working with data collection systems preferred, and experience working on job cost systems.

Position Summary: Working in an agile methodology, provide both development and quality assurance on multiple platforms, applications and middleware integrations, such as ERP, SQL, job cost systems and custom applications. This person will be a part of the IT team working with application subject matter experts to maintain and design system solutions to meet current and future business requirements.

Essential Job Functions


  1. Work with users to define requirements on both new and existing applications.
  2. Analyze user requirements and develop detailed specifications.
  1. Design, implement and maintain .Net applications within all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  2. Serve as a primarily C# .Net developer (Front and Backend).
  3. Conduct code review to ensure delivery of high-quality standards.
  4. Develop, test, implement and maintain application software working with established processes.
  5. Responsible for program design, coding, testing, debugging, and both user and technical documentation.
  6. Provide level 3 support for developed applications.
  7. Identify opportunities to fine - tune and optimize applications of .Net developed projects.
  8. Develop innovative solutions delivering optimal user experience.
  9. With unlimited access to company information, confidentiality is of utmost importance.
  10. Translate business requirements into effective technical solutions by presenting development options based on best practices.
  11. Produce user documentation for applications developed.

  1. Serve as a mentor to less experienced developers.
  2. Performs other duties per supervisor’s discretion.
  3. Identify opportunities for streamlining work and reducing waste in order to improve efficiency.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Experience with C# .NET development.
  • Strong understanding of various operating systems, browsers, and databases.
  • Experience writing automated test scripts using tools like Microsoft Coded UI.
  • Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle and using tools such as Jenkins.
  • Ability to utilize tools like Jira to prioritize and complete work in an agile methodology.
  • Experience in ERP and SQL database development.
  • Able to work independently and be productive in an environment where priorities change.
  • Strong analytical skills and proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly and effectively
  • Excellent communication (oral and written), organization and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated, ability to work within Corporate IT guidelines, passionate about quality of work, and ability to thrive in a team environment.
  • Expert knowledge in MS SQL Development (SQL queries, Stored Procedures, Functions, etc.).
  • Some travel required.
