Education Requirements: Associate's degree and two-years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.         


Position Summary: Assist the Risk Management Systems Administrator in the refinement, development, maintenance, and enhancement of Risk Management safety systems, programs, policies, and procedures. Primary responsibilities may include the creation and maintenance of segment specific safety training tools and other media to communicate safety information.


Essential Job Functions


  1. Assists with the refinement of Blattner’s safety training programs and resources that uphold our business model through collaboration with Risk Management Systems Administrator (RMSA) and Subject Matter Expert’s.
  2. Collaborate with Marketing to ensure branding is compliant with organizational guidelines.
  3. Collaborate with RMSA to coordinate additional training or learning experiences.
  4. Provide current versions of training programs or materials to pertinent parties.
  5. Utilize current technologies to house and distribute corporate safety materials as directed.
  6. Collect, Compile and Provide a variety of data or input (i.e. training matrix and program evaluations).
  7. Keep the RMSA and other necessary parties informed of the organizations performance (i.e. RM data and training program effectiveness).
  8. Assist with corporate safety programs and awareness by fielding question about the program and policies.
  9. Compile collected materials to create new training materials, visuals, or training resources.
  10. Provide relevant safety materials to support the jobsite under the direction of the Risk Management System Administrator.
  11. Assist in the creation of electronic forms using Forms on Fire and other software.
  12. Provide support for current systems such as Blattner Mobile, SharePoint, One Drive and Teams.


Additional Job Functions


  1. Perform other tasks as directed by RMSA.
  2. Provide back-up support for other Risk Management department members in their absence or as directed.
  3. Identify opportunities for streamlining work and reducing waste in order to improve efficiency.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities


  • Intermediate computer skills – Internet, Microsoft Excel, Word, Publisher, & Outlook are a must.
  • Video and image editing experience is preferred.
  • Understand and utilize SQL Server Reporting Services.
  • Organized – may need to work under pressure, during stressful times, or within deadline constraints.
  • Professional interaction and collaboration with personnel.
  • Minimal travel is required.
  • Detail-Oriented and ability to handle confidential information.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be approachable and a team player. 
  • Ability to work strategically within the Training Budget.
  • Desire to think creatively and learn new things.
  • Ability to adapt or remain flexible in accordance with job tasks and projects.
