Education Requirements:  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related degree, specializing in Information Technology; or equivalent years of training and experience.


Experience: One-year experience in the following areas:  leveraging Apex and Salesforce interface; story writing and/or being on an Agile team; utilizing storyboard technologies such as JIRA, TFS, AzDO or comparable technologies.


Position Summary: As an Associate Salesforce Application Developer you will work on your own Delivery Team to deliver business features leveraging the Salesforce application.  You will provide development, support and quality assurance on the Salesforce platform, work with middleware integrations, such as SQL, Dell Boomi, job cost systems and custom applications.   Working within a cross-functional Product Delivery team, the Application Developer will provide the “hands-on-keyboard” expertise to take products from conception to launch, to sustaining.

Essential Job Functions

  1. Works with users to define requirements on both new and existing applications.
  2. Analyzes user requirements and develop detailed specifications.
  3. Designs, implements, supports and maintains .Net application developments within Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  4. Understands and uses C# .Net developer and support functionality (Front and Backend)
  5. Conducts code review of your code and other developers.
  6. Develops, tests, implements and maintains application software.
  7. Responsible for program design, coding, testing, debugging, and user/technical documentation.
  8. Provides all levels of support for developed and assigned COTS applications.
  9. Develops innovative solutions delivering optimal user experience.
  10. Produces user documentation for applications developed.
  11. Supports and upholds the information security goals of the company 


Additional Job Functions

  1. Performs other duties per supervisor’s discretion.
  2. Identifies opportunities for streamlining work and reducing waste in order to improve efficiency.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Knowledge leveraging Apex and Salesforce interface.
  • Hands on ability in skill developing in various other languages (example .NET, HTML, C#, Apex, JavaScript).
  • Proven abilities in story writing and/or being on an Agile team.
  • Knowledge in JIRA, TFS, AzDo or comparable storyboard technologies.
  • Strong understanding of various operating systems, browsers, and databases.
  • Advanced knowledge in writing automated test scripts using tools like Selenium or similar frameworks
  • Some knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle and using tools such as Jenkins.
  • Basic knowledge in MS SQL Development (SQL queries, Stored Procedures, Functions, etc.).
