Education Requirements: Two-year related degree or equivalent combinations of on-the-job experience and/or education.

 

Experience Requirements: Experience with rapid authoring and graphic design software and Learning Management Systems preferred.

                            

Position Summary: Partners with the Learning and Development team to maintain the effectiveness of current training programs, tools and resources, as well as to provide support in the development of new programs. Supports the team in equipping employees across the organization with the skills, knowledge and resources they need to be engaged, empowered and excellence in their roles.

Essential Job Functions

  1. Maintains current training programs, being responsible for identifying updates and working with subject matter experts to make the needed updates.
  2. Maintains a variety of training resources that support the foundation of our success, including the company’s training catalog and charts identifying training needs by role.
  3. Keeps current on regulatory training requirements and audits current training offerings to keep them in alignment with meeting those requirements.
  4. Supports training events by working with presenters to assist in the development or updating of training materials such as PowerPoint presentations, learning activities and handouts.  
  5. Supports the Learning Management System Administrator with special projects.
  6. Partners with Instructional Designers to help create engaging learning experiences and updates, designs and prepares other educational aids and materials.
  7. Supports the creation and updating of training materials in Spanish or other necessary languages through the utilization of outside vendors where appropriate.
  8. Researches, evaluates and makes recommendations on training materials and methodologies.
  9. Serves as a department liaison to the field and other departments to assist in needs analysis. 
  10. Assists in facilitating periodic training sessions. 

     

Additional Job Functions

  1. Provides support and serves as a backup to other members of the Learning & Development team.
  2. Identify opportunities for streamlining work and reducing waste in order to improve efficiency.
  3. Perform other duties per supervisor’s discretion.

  • Knowledge and understanding of a Learning Management System.
  • Occasional travel as needed.
