Education Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Supply Chain, Business Management, or related degree; or combination of related work experience and education.

Experience: 5+ years working experience as a Product Owner; and 5+ years agile methodology experience including agile coaching and adoption. Experience in JIRA, Microsoft TFS, AzDo or comparable storyboard technologies. Previous experience as Product Owner of ERP, MRP, and or Supply Chain Supply platforms.

Position Summary:  As a Product Owner you will work with a dedicated Delivery Team to deliver business features.  Working with business stakeholders to prioritize requests across all business units, translating business use cases to technical stories.  The Product Owner will have a strong desire to bring real world solutions to business needs, using some of the latest industry technologies that enhance the end users experience. This position will have a strong understanding of how to bridge the worlds of business and technology. Working directly with a cross-functional product delivery team, the Product Owner will guide products from conception to launch, to sustaining usability. 

Essential Job Functions

  1. Helps shape the future of Blattner Company’s products. 
  2. Regularly collaborates with business end users, and subject matter experts to identify needed product enhancements, deficiencies, hurdles and challenges the department faces.
  3. Identifies possible solutions and analyzes products; builds out and maintains roadmaps, workflows, or defines enhancements to be delivered.
  4. Develops and maintains a prioritized list of enhancements/features based on efficiencies/cost savings to end users, department, and business.
  5. Develops, coordinates, and ensures successful execution of product release/launch plan.
  6. Works with other Product Owners, ensures best practices across the company and new products features align with and can be fully utilized across all departments/enterprise.
  7. Facilitates story writing sessions with the Delivery Team. 
  8. Represents the "Voice of the End User" to IT and stakeholders, ensuring the final product meets the operational need of the end user.
  9. Collects, analyzes, and summarizes product information, and educates department on new or enhanced products.
  10. Supports and upholds the information security goals of the company.
  11. Benchmark business process capabilities and integrations across all Entities to develop Standard solutions that will deliver scale, agility and value to the Business Stakeholders.
  12. Strong understanding of Master Data Management in order to enable Standards across all Entities and System Platforms.
  13. Lead and execute the development of new and existing configurations as well as supporting documentation that enables Change Management and End User Training.
  14. Lead and own the Business Relationship with Software Vendors that delivers excellent Customer Service and responsiveness to the Business.

  1. Builds budget proposals based on department needs and IT input.
  2. Performs other duties as assigned by manager
  3. Identifies opportunities for streamlining work and reducing waste in order to improve efficiency.



Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Knowledge of enterprise supply chain technology including, material management, procurement, order fulfillment, transportation and/or fleet management Systems.
  • Ability and knowledge to lead an ERP/MRP migration from on-premise to cloud or significate upgrade of these systems.
  • Understanding of Cloud platforms like Oracle Cloud, Azure or AWS.
  • Ability to quickly learn business processes, flows and functions.
  • Detail orientated person that has facilitated agile planning sessions.
  • Hands on knowledge of Agile methodology and previous experience defining requirements and acceptance criteria for large iterative initiatives.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical requirements.
  • In-depth knowledge of Agile process and principles.
  • Outstanding communication, presentation and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work within a cross functional technical team.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Creative thinker with a strategic vision.
  • Occasional travel will be required for job site and business knowledge requirement gathering.
  • To minimize impact to the business some weekend hours maybe required during project rollouts.
