Education/Experience Requirements: Knowledge of business functions and skills normally acquired through an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in business, accounting or finance, or an equivalent of 5 or more years of on-the-job professional experience with exposure to tax laws, unions, and payroll regulations for multi-state and multi-company payroll.
Position Summary: Under direction of the Payroll Manager, performs all payroll functions including administering tax and insurance information, classifying new hires and rehires, programming benefits, and running weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for each company within the Blattner Family of Companies. Assists in auditing payroll processes and the development and implementation of improved payroll processes and procedures.
