Education Requirements: High School Degree and currently enrolled at a four-year college.

Experience Requirements: College student pursing a degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or Communication.

Position Summary:  Provides technical and administrative support to Accelerate Team (XLR8).  Requires the initiative and assertiveness to prioritize multiple projects and think critically in order to aid in the completion of deliverables prioritized by the XLR8 team.

Essential Job Functions

  1. Provides administrative support to the Accelerate Team (XLR8) by typing correspondence, drafting/proofing memos and letters, coordinating various project and corporate related meetings, assisting with submittals, copies and distributes plans, specs and general office filing.
  2. Prepares and distributes materials for meetings and ongoing initiatives between corporate departments and leaders as well as project owners.
  3. Compiles notes, data, and information for communication while providing follow through on action items for Accelerate.
  4. Works with teams or other individuals on special projects, which may include planning multiple presentations, documenting in a flow chart and narrative style, and disseminating information.
  5. Develops PowerPoint presentations and other visual presentations for the Accelerate Team Documents.
  6. Maps current process flows to identify gaps in today’s processes and projected processes of the future.
  7. Sorts, maintains, and creates various spreadsheets and process maps using Excel and/or Visio.
  8. Assists with maintaining the Accelerate Teams calendars and coordinates with other operations and corporate managers’ schedules.
  9. Screens incoming calls; creates, edits, and drafts correspondence, and responds independently when possible.

Additional Job Functions

  1. Identifies opportunities for streamlining work and reducing waste in order to improve efficiency.
  2. Performs additional assignments per supervisor’s direction.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook, Visio), and has the ability to type 60 wpm. 
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and must be detail orientated. 
  • Must have good time management skills, be able to multitask with frequent changes, and the ability to work independently. 
  • Must have the ability to learn new software systems in a timely fashion. 
  • Must be able to maintain confidential information, and act in a professional demeanor.
