Education Requirements: Four-year Human Resources or related degree; or equivalent combinations of experience and education. Previous Sourcing certification or formal training preferred. (i.e. AIRS).    

Experience:  Three years HR sourcing and full cycle recruitment experience. Previous experience utilizing an application tracking system (ATS), preferably Workday.

Position Summary: Actively involved in the full recruitment cycle from initiating new requisitions through employment offers and onboarding. Primarily responsible for entry-level and experienced Field exempt sourcing and recruiting; ensures all positions are filled in alignment with company culture, and in a timely manner.

Essential Job Functions

  1. Follows company recruitment program by complying with local, state and federal employment laws and utilizes sourcing and recruiting strategies to ensure that the company attracts the best candidates while determining "cultural fit" for the position.
  2. Determines staffing strategy; obtains position requirements from hiring manager and ensures that job descriptions are updated.
  3. Sources active candidates from online databases, contact lists, internal databases, and employee referrals; and sources passive candidates through networking, cold calling, advertisements, job fairs, and Internet research.
  4. Evaluates profiles of potential candidates and performs preliminary phone screen assessments (screen all candidates for availability, interest level, salary range, ability to travel, and basic qualifications); and then schedules face to face interviews pending a positive outcome. 
  5. Negotiates and makes job offers for positions in a timely manner.
  6. Tracks progress on each candidate in the applicant tracking system (Workday), and reports staffing initiatives and progress to supervisor and hiring managers on a regular basis.
  7. Assists with college/university career fairs and jobsite job fairs on a regular basis.
  8. Recruiting, hiring, and onboarding of field and corporate interns.
  9. Builds company brand by professionally representing the company to all applicants, employment agencies, universities, etc., and works in conjunction with all company employees to provide the highest level of customer service.
  10. Codes and submits vendor invoices and expense reports for prompt payment.
  11. Contacts and provides good faith recruitment with disabled, veterans, women and minority agencies, applicants, colleges, universities, etc.

Additional Job Functions

  1. Performs additional assignments per supervisor’s direction.
  2. Identifies opportunities for streamlining work and reducing waste in order to improve efficiency.
  3. Assists HR department employees with various projects as needed.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Understanding of full cycle recruitment and sourcing techniques.
  • Knowledge of employment laws to ensure adherence to all equal employment opportunity guidelines.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong employee relations skills.
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Must have an acceptable driving record and valid driver’s license for the ability to travel out of state for career/job fairs as needed.
