Project Engineer (Innovation) *Avon, MN - Corporate Office
Works with Energy Storage and Innovation initiatives by leading design efforts for new and emerging technologies and ideas. The candidate must be passionate about and comfortable with change and have the courage to try and fail. Responsible for coordinating with subcontractors, managing engineering firms, processes and standards to ensure the company achieves reliable, quality and safe designs. Leads the multi-scope design process through IFC design, project commissioning, and completing post-project evaluations. Manages 3rd party engineering firms, working with Blattner Energy Internal Engineering, and being the project lead in all aspect of project design. aligns and works with the construction team to ensure they have necessary design information and parameters to build the work. Including supporting the project design by ensuring design meets the contractual, technical, safety, and quality requirement from Client, Company and Industry Specifications and Standards.
Estimator *Avon, MN - Corporate Office
This position will primarily work with Energy Storage and Innovation initiatives as well as running cost scenarios for new and emerging technologies and ideas. The Estimator must be passionate about and comfortable with change and have the courage to try and fail. Evaluates proposals for both small scale pilot projects and larger scale full projects. Completes the estimating process and technical compliance with all RFP/Innovation requirements. Analyzes plans/drawings, specifications, vendor proposals, reviews subcontractor quotes, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates. The role of the estimator is to ensure scope, schedule and bid price match.

The Project Construction Coordinator administers and coordinates the daily operations of the project site under the supervision of Site Manager or Assistant Site Manager. Operates a crane to lift, move, and position loads such as components, equipment, and solid or bulk materials by performing the following duties.
Structures Foreman (Foundations / Concrete) *Nationwide
Establish and maintain high morale while supervising construction crews, demonstrate mastery and safety of equipment and materials, and ensure all necessary inspections are completed. The Foreman is accountable for the actions of the crew if the responsibilities of the crew members are not followed through.
Sr. Staff Engineer *Avon, MN - Corporate Office
A highly motivated individual who coordinates and manages engineering firms, supports procurement efforts, serves as a proponent for project-level needs, performs and issues calculations, plans and specifications to ensure the company achieves safe and high quality designs at the lowest Levelized Cost of Energy (LCOE). Provides mentorship for procurement, project, and technical personnel.

On-site supervision of Assistant Superintendents, Forepersons, and all craft personnel (e.g. equipment operators, laborers, electricians, etc.) and their activities to ensure a safe, productive, and quality job is attained and costs are controlled in the particular construction discipline. Schedules labor, materials, tools, equipment and subcontractors within work discipline to effectively utilize all resources; and works with specifications and contract requirements.
Journeyman Electrician *Nationwide
Installs, repairs, and maintains motors, transformers, generators, lights, appliances, circuits, wiring, and other electrical system equipment and components in compliance with electrical codes, standards, and regulations. Operates a variety of electrical testing equipment in locating and determining types of electrical malfunctions. Studies plans, drawings, specifications, and work orders to determine work requirement and sequence of installations.
Field Construction Coordinator *Nationwide
Administers daily operations of project site under supervision of Project Construction Coordinator, Project Manager and Site Manager. Ensures and maintains cost, safety, schedule, and quality of project.
Laborer - Solar Installer - Nationwide *Nationwide
Ground mounted systems will be assembled and installed for this project, this will involve material handling, carrying material, assembling and installing the material as well as keeping a clean, safe work area and other labor related responsibilities. Operators duties will be unloading, loading material and moving it to designated work areas.
Design Phase Engineer/ Coordinator *Avon, MN - Corporate Office
The Design Phase Engineer will be responsible for coordinating with individuals, managing engineering firms, following processes and standards to ensure the company achieves reliable, quality and safe designs. This person will be responsible for leading the design process through IFC design. This person will be responsible for managing 3rd party engineering firms, working with Blattner Energy Internal Engineering, and being the project lead in all aspects of project design. This person will align and work with the construction team to ensure they have the necessary design information, quantities and parameters to build the work. Supports the project design by ensuring design meets the contractual, technical, safety, and quality requirement from Client, Company and Industry Specifications and Standards. This person will travel to support the site team and lead design reviews as required. This person will not manage the construction activities performed on project site.
