Marketing Communications Intern *Avon, MN - Corporate Office
Provide support to the marketing communications team through planning, researching and drafting marketing communication efforts. This includes the areas of day to day operations and special marketing communication projects that contribute to the company. This position is also expected to support and uphold the Blattner brand.
Supply Chain and Strategic Planning Intern *Avon, MN - Corporate Office
Responsible for documenting, in a visual and flowchart style, the business process of the Company’s future Supply Chain organization. This will require the intern to understand the new organizational design, acquire a basic understanding of the systems used, and establish strong relationships and communication with people across all 6 “Focus Areas” of the Supply Chain project.
Journeyman Lineman (Transmission) (New Mexico, Texas) *Nationwide, New Mexico, Texas
Perform all duties of positions from Groundman to Journeyman Lineman classifications, which involves various duties supporting electric overhead and underground construction activities. Knowledge and experience of the power line industry 34.5kv through 345kv on wood, steel and concrete structure construction is a plus.

Commissioning Foreman *Nationwide
Position Summary: The Commissioning Foreman provides onsite leadership in the planning and execution of the site specific commissioning process in accordance with the guidelines and procedures established in the Blattner Commissioning Program.

Schedules labor, materials, tools, equipment and subcontractors within work discipline to effectively utilize all resources; and works with specifications and contract requirements.

Design Phase Engineer/ Coordinator (Blattner Company) *Avon, MN - Corporate Office
The Design Phase Engineer will be responsible for coordinating with individuals, managing engineering firms, following processes and standards to ensure the company achieves reliable, quality and safe designs. This person will be responsible for leading the design process through IFC design. This person will be responsible for managing 3rd party engineering firms, working with Blattner Energy Internal Engineering, and being the project lead in all aspects of project design. This person will align and work with the construction team to ensure they have the necessary design information, quantities and parameters to build the work. Supports the project design by ensuring design meets the contractual, technical, safety, and quality requirement from Client, Company and Industry Specifications and Standards. This person will travel to support the site team and lead design reviews as required. This person will not manage the construction activities performed on project site.
Equipment Operators: Dozer, Excavator, Forklift, & Blade (TX, WY.) *Jobsite Specific
Safely operate equipment to perform work task.
CDL Water Truck Driver *Jobsite Specific
Drives water truck safely to spray water on roadways in order to control dust. Current Commercial Driver's License with Tanker endorsement required.
General Laborer - Civil/Grading & Electrical *Nationwide
This position will work with the civil or electrical crews. The Civil Laborers would be assisting in installation/removal of silt fence, installing culvert pipe, placement of signs, layout of roadways, and assisting civil work where needed. The Electrical Laborers would be assisting the apprentices and journeyman with manual labor, installation of ground grid and conduit, setting up equipment including tightening of anchor bolts, steel assembly, pulling of insulated wires and cables through the conduit to complete circuits between boxes, and various other physically demanding tasks.
Journeyman Electrician *Nationwide
Installs, repairs, and maintains motors, transformers, generators, lights, appliances, circuits, wiring, and other electrical system equipment and components in compliance with electrical codes, standards, and regulations. Operates a variety of electrical testing equipment in locating and determining types of electrical malfunctions. Studies plans, drawings, specifications, and work orders to determine work requirement and sequence of installations.
Laborer - Solar Installer *Nationwide
Ground mounted systems will be assembled and installed for this project, this will involve material handling, carrying material, assembling and installing the material as well as keeping a clean, safe work area and other labor related responsibilities. Operators duties will be unloading, loading material and moving it to designated work areas.
Operator - Crane *Jobsite Specific
Operates a crane to lift, move, and position loads such as components, equipment, and solid or bulk materials by performing the following duties.
Electrical Superintendent: High Voltage *Nationwide
Provides input and technical expertise for power generating construction projects. Additional requirements are: General Contractor support of engineering review, procurement (if necessary), construction, and start-up of a high or medium voltage electrical system and associated substation. Responsible for installation guidance, QA/QC enforcement, scheduling support and owner correspondence. Responsible for review and final submittal to Owner of Engineer As-builts and project system packages (Job Books). On-site supervision of Assistant Superintendents and electrical subcontractors (as necessary) to ensure a safe, productive job is attained and costs are controlled in the construction field operations.
Tower Climber - Experienced Base/Mid & Top-Out Ironworker/Connector/Flagger *Nationwide
Technically skilled in the installation of Wind Turbine Generators. This position will have in-depth knowledge of WTG (Vestas, GE, or Siemens), quality, processes, flagging crane, installing loose components for nacelle, hub, blades and tower sections, managing tag lines and installation checklist.
Turbine Installation (Climber) *Jobsite Specific, Minnesota
Installation Summary: Raise, place, and unite iron and other structural members to form completed structures or structural frameworks. Tower Wiring Summary: Install, test, and repair wiring, motors, equipment, and control systems in accordance with all applicable plans, specifications, codes, and industry standards.
Turbine Installation (Non-Climbing) *Jobsite Specific, Iowa
Assembles rigging to lift and move equipment or material on job site by performing the following duties.
