Turbine Installation (Non-Climbing) *Nationwide

Commissioning Foreman *Nationwide
Position Summary: The Commissioning Foreman provides onsite leadership in the planning and execution of the site specific commissioning process in accordance with the guidelines and procedures established in the Blattner Commissioning Program.
Electrical Field Construction Coordinator *Nationwide
Provides input and technical expertise for power generating construction projects. Additional requirements are: General Contractor support of Engineering review, procurement (if necessary), construction, and start-up of a high or medium voltage electrical system and associated substation. Responsible for installation guidance, QA/QC enforcement, scheduling support, and owner correspondence. Review and final submittal to Owner of Engineer As-builts, and project system packages (Job Books). Assist Electrical Superintendents with supervision of electrical subcontractors to ensure a safe, productive quality job is attained and costs are controlled in the construction field operations.
Field Construction Coordinator *Nationwide
Administers daily operations of project site under supervision of Project Construction Coordinator, Project Manager and Site Manager. Ensures and maintains cost, safety, schedule, and quality of project.
Site Safety Coordinator *Nationwide
Plans, implements and supervises project safety, accident and fire protection programs in compliance with corporate, federal, state and local program standards. Approximately 75% of work time should be spent in the field conducting assessments, interacting with crews, subcontractors, etc.

Engineer I *Avon, MN - Corporate Office/Blattner Company
Works with the Project Engineering Manager in managing 3rd party engineering firms, coordinating with Blattner Internal Engineering, Supply Chain and supporting the project design through project completion. Aligns construction teams to ensure they have the necessary design information, quantities and specifications to build the projects. Will perform drawing reviews, study reviews and specification reviews and provide comments to the Project Engineering Manager. Supports the project design by ensuring the design meets the contractual requirements from Client, Company and Industry Codes and Standards. This person will travel to site to participate in design reviews, check construction activities are following project drawings and specifications and check site teams red-lines are complete and accurate. Design work to be primarily engaged but not limited to include underground collection systems, substations, SCADA/communication systems, transmission lines, solar/PV arrays, foundations, access roads, and pile. Note: This person will not manage the construction activities performed on project site.

Partners with Sourcing team to build and leverage category strategies and manages supplier performance. Provides end user and project site helpdesk phone support. Initial end user support for Desktops, laptops, peripherals, mobile devices, and software. Log user tickets with detailed troubleshooting steps completed. Assist other IT staff with deployment of patches and other software/OS updates via an automated tool or script when required.

The successful candidate will have prior experience in a heavy construction labor negotiation, National Labor Relations Board proceedings, trust fund issues, prevailing wage information, grievances and arbitrations. Designs and provides oversight to SCADA vendors and third party EOR’s in order to develop preliminary designs and Bill of Materials which will be provided to estimators for estimating projects. Aligns and works with the procurement team to ensure they have necessary design information, quantities and parameters to bid the work. Works with the construction division and third party EOR’s to ensure design has met the requirements of the project including safety, reliability, and quality. Applies engineering principals to a business model during the design and optimization process of renewable facilities such as solar and wind and integration with substations.
